वैश्वानरस्यvaiśvānarasya सुमतौsumatau सयामsyāma राजाrājā हिhi कंkaṃ भुवनानामभिश्रीःbhuvanānāmabhiśrīḥ |

इतोito जातोjāto विश्वमिदंviśvamidaṃ विvi चष्टेcaṣṭe वैश्वानरोvaiśvānaro यततेyatate सूर्येणsūryeṇa ||
STILL in Vaiśvānara's grace may we continue: yea, he is King supreme o’er all things living.
Sprung hence to life upon this All he looketh. Vaiśvānara hath rivalry with Sūrya.
1.98.1
पर्ष्टोpṛṣṭo दिविdivi पर्ष्टोpṛṣṭo अग्निःaghniḥ पर्थिव्यांpṛthivyāṃ पर्ष्टोpṛṣṭo विश्वाviśvā ओषधीराoṣadhīrā विवेशviveśa |

वैश्वानरःvaiśvānaraḥ सहसाsahasā पर्ष्टोpṛṣṭo अग्निःaghniḥ सsa नोno दिवाdivā सsa रिषःriṣaḥ पातुpātu नक्तमnaktam ||
Present in heaven, in earth, all-present Agni,—all plants that grow on ground hath he pervaded.
May Agni, may Vaiśvānara with vigour, present, preserve us day and night from foemen.
1.98.2
वैश्वानरvaiśvānara तवtava ततtat सत्यमस्त्वस्मानsatyamastvasmān रायोrāyo मघवानःmaghavānaḥ सचन्तामsacantām |

तनtan नोno ...... ||
Be this thy truth, Vaiśvānara, to us-ward: let wealth in rich abundance gather round us.
This prayer of ours may Varuṇa grant, and Mitra, and Aditi and Sindhu, Earth and Heaven.
