मरुद्भिरग्नmarudbhiraghna आā गहिghahi ||
To this fair sacrifice to drink the milky draught thou art invoked:
O Agni, with the Maruts come.
1.19.1
नहिnahi देवोdevo नna मर्त्योmartyo महस्तवmahastava करतुंkratuṃ परःparaḥ |

मरुद्भिरग्नmarudbhiraghna आā गहिghahi ||
No mortal man, no God exceeds thy mental power, O Mighty one:
O Agni, with the Maruts come:
1.19.2
येye महोmaho रजसोrajaso विदुर्विश्वेvidurviśve देवासोdevāso अद्रुहःadruhaḥ |

मरुद्भिरग्नmarudbhiraghna आā गहिghahi ||
All Gods devoid of guile, who know the mighty region of mid-air:
O Agni, with those Maruts come.
1.19.3
यya उग्राughrā अर्कमान्र्चुरनाध्र्ष्टासarkamānṛcuranādhṛṣṭāsa ओजसाojasā |

मरुद्भिरग्नmarudbhiraghna आā गहिghahi ||
The terrible, who sing their song, not to be overcome by might:
O Agni, with those Maruts come.
1.19.4
येye शुभ्राśubhrā घोरवर्पसःghoravarpasaḥ सुक्षत्रासोsukṣatrāso रिशादसःriśādasaḥ |

मरुद्भिरग्नmarudbhiraghna आā गहिghahi ||
Brilliant, and awful in their form, mighty, devourers of their foes:
O Agni, with those Maruts come.
1.19.5
येye नाकस्याधिnākasyādhi रोचनेrocane दिविdivi देवासdevāsa आसतेāsate |

मरुद्भिरग्नmarudbhiraghna आā गहिghahi ||
Who sit as Deities in heaven, above the sky-vault's luminous sphere:
O Agni, with those Maruts come.
1.19.6
यya ईङखयन्तिīṅkhayanti पर्वतानparvatān तिरःtiraḥ समुद्रमर्णवमsamudramarṇavam |

मरुद्भिरग्नmarudbhiraghna आā गहिghahi ||
Who scatter clouds about the sky, away over the billowy sea:
O Agni, with those Maruts come.
1.19.7
आā येye तन्वन्तिtanvanti रश्मिभिस्तिरःraśmibhistiraḥ समुद्रमोजसाsamudramojasā |

मरुद्भिरग्नmarudbhiraghna आā गहिghahi ||
Who with their bright beams spread them forth over the ocean in their might
O Agni, with those Maruts come.
1.19.8
अभिabhi तवाtvā पूर्वपीतयेpūrvapītaye सर्जामिsṛjāmi सोम्यंsomyaṃ मधुmadhu |

मरुद्भिरग्नmarudbhiraghna आā गहिghahi ||
For thee, to be thine early draught, I pour the Soma-mingled meath:
O Agni, with the Maruts come.
