तवंtvaṃ सोमsoma परpra चिकितोcikito मनीषाmanīṣā तवंtvaṃ रजिष्ठमनुrajiṣṭhamanu नेषिneṣi पन्थामpanthām |

तवtava परणीतीpraṇītī पितरोpitaro नna इन्दोindo देवेषुdeveṣu रत्नमभजन्तratnamabhajanta धीराःdhīrāḥ ||
Thou, Soma, art preeminent for wisdom; along the straightest path thou art our leader.
Our wise forefathers by thy guidance, Indu, dealt out among the Gods their share of treasure.
1.91.1
तवंtvaṃ सोमsoma करतुभिःkratubhiḥ सुभूस्त्वंsubhūstvaṃ दक्षैःdakṣaiḥ सुदक्षोsudakṣo विश्ववेदाःviśvavedāḥ |

तवंtvaṃ वर्षाvṛṣā वर्षत्वेभिर्महित्वाvṛṣatvebhirmahitvā दयुम्नेभिर्द्युम्न्यभवोdyumnebhirdyumnyabhavo नर्चक्षाःnṛcakṣāḥ ||
Thou by thine insight art most wise, O Soma, strong by thine energies and all possessing,
Mighty art thou by all thy powers and greatness, by glories art thou glorious, guide of mortals.
1.91.2
राज्ञोrājño नुnu तेte वरुणस्यvaruṇasya वरतानिvratāni बर्हदbṛhad गभीरंghabhīraṃ तवtava सोमsoma धामdhāma |

शुचिषśuciṣ टवमसिṭvamasi परियोpriyo नna मित्रोmitro दक्षाय्योdakṣāyyo अर्यमेवासिसोमaryamevāsisoma ||
Thine are King Varuṇa's eternal statutes, lofty and deep, O Soma, is thy glory.
All-pure art thou like Mitra the beloved, adorable, like Aryaman, O Soma.
1.91.3
याyā तेte धामानिdhāmāni दिविdivi याyā पर्थिव्यांpṛthivyāṃ याyā पर्वतेष्वोषधीष्वप्सुparvateṣvoṣadhīṣvapsu |

तेभिर्नोtebhirno विश्वैःviśvaiḥ सुमनाsumanā अहेळनaheḷan राजनrājan सोमsoma परतिहव्याpratihavyā गर्भायghṛbhāya ||
With all thy glories on the earth, in heaven, on mountains, in the plants, and in the waters,—
With all of these, well-pleased and not in anger, accept, O royal Soma, our oblations.
1.91.4
तवंtvaṃ सोमासिsomāsi सत्पतिस्त्वंsatpatistvaṃ राजोतrājota वर्त्रहाvṛtrahā |

तवंtvaṃ भद्रोbhadro असिasi करतुःkratuḥ ||
Thou, Soma, art the Lord of heroes, King, yea, Vṛtra-slayer thou:
Thou art auspicious energy.
1.91.5
तवंtvaṃ चca सोमsoma नोno वशोvaśo जीवातुंjīvātuṃ नna मरामहेmarāmahe |

परियस्तोत्रोpriyastotro वनस्पतिःvanaspatiḥ ||
And, Soma, let it be thy wish that we may live and may not die:
Praise-loving Lord of plants art thou.
1.91.6
तवंtvaṃ सोमsoma महेmahe भगंbhaghaṃ तवंtvaṃ यूनyūna रतायतेṛtāyate |

दक्षंdakṣaṃ दधासिdadhāsi जीवसेjīvase ||
To him who keeps the law, both old and young, thou givest happiness,
And energy that he may live.
1.91.7
तवंtvaṃ नःnaḥ सोमsoma विश्वतोviśvato रक्षाrakṣā राजन्नघायतःrājannaghāyataḥ |

नna रिष्येत्त्वावतःriṣyettvāvataḥ सखाsakhā ||
Guard us, King Soma, on all sides from him who threatens us: never let
The friend of one like thee be harmed.
1.91.8
सोमsoma यास्तेyāste मयोभुवmayobhuva ऊतयःūtayaḥ सन्तिsanti दाशुषेdāśuṣe |

ताभिर्नो.अविताtābhirno.avitā भवbhava ||
With those delightful aids which thou hast, Soma, for the worshipper,—
Even with those protect thou us.
1.91.9
इमंimaṃ यज्ञमिदंyajñamidaṃ वचोvaco जुजुषाणjujuṣāṇa उपागहिupāghahi |

सोमsoma तवंtvaṃ नोव्र्धेnovṛdhe भवbhava ||
Accepting this our sacrifice and this our praise, O Soma, come,
And be thou nigh to prosper us.
1.91.10
सोमsoma गीर्भिषghīrbhiṣ टवाṭvā वयंvayaṃ वर्धयामोvardhayāmo वचोविदःvacovidaḥ |

सुम्र्ळीकोनsumṛḷīkona आā विशviśa ||
Well-skilled in speech we magnify thee, Soma, with our sacred songs:
Come thou to us, most gracious One.
1.91.11
गयस्फानोghayasphāno अमीवहाamīvahā वसुवितvasuvit पुष्टिवर्धनःpuṣṭivardhanaḥ |

सुमित्रःsumitraḥ सोमनोsomano भवbhava ||
Enricher, healer of disease, wealth-finder, prospering our store,
Be, Soma, a good Friend to us.
1.91.12
सोमsoma रारन्धिrārandhi नोno हर्दिhṛdi गावोghāvo नna यवसेष्वाyavaseṣvā |

मर्यmarya इवiva सवोक्येsvaokye ||
Soma, be happy in our heart, as milch-kine in the grassy meads,
As a young man in his own house.
1.91.13
यःyaḥ सोमsoma सख्येsakhye तवtava रारणदrāraṇad देवdeva मर्त्यःmartyaḥ |

तंtaṃ दक्षःdakṣaḥ सचतेsacate कविःkaviḥ ||
O Soma, God, the mortal man who in thy friendship hath delight,
Him doth the mighty Sage befriend.
1.91.14
उरुष्याuruṣyā णोṇo अभिशस्तेःabhiśasteḥ सोमsoma निni पाह्यंहसःpāhyaṃhasaḥ |

सखाsakhā सुशेवsuśeva एधिedhi नःnaḥ ||
Save us from slanderous reproach, keep us., O Soma, from distress:
Be unto us a gracious Friend.
1.91.15
आā पयायस्वpyāyasva समेतुsametu तेte विश्वतःviśvataḥ सोमsoma वर्ष्ण्यमvṛṣṇyam |

भवाbhavā वाजस्यvājasya संगथेsaṃghathe ||
Soma, wax great. From every side may vigorous powers unite in thee:
Be in the gathering-place of strength.
1.91.16
आā पयायस्वpyāyasva मदिन्तमmadintama सोमsoma विश्वेभिरंशुभिःviśvebhiraṃśubhiḥ |

भवाbhavā नःसुश्रवस्तमःnaḥsuśravastamaḥ सखाsakhā वर्धेvṛdhe ||
Wax, O most gladdening Soma, great through all thy rays of light, and be
A Friend of most illustrious fame to prosper us.
1.91.17
संsaṃ तेte पयांसिpayāṃsi समुsamu यन्तुyantu वाजाःvājāḥ संsaṃ वर्ष्ण्यान्यभिमातिषाहःvṛṣṇyānyabhimātiṣāhaḥ |

आप्यायमानोāpyāyamāno अम्र्तायamṛtāya सोमsoma दिविdivi शरवांस्युत्तमानिśravāṃsyuttamāni धिष्वdhiṣva ||
In thee be juicy nutriments united, and powers and mighty foe-subduing vigour,
Waxing to immortality, O Soma: win highest glories for thyself in heaven.
1.91.18
याyā तेte धामानिdhāmāni हविषाhaviṣā यजन्तिyajanti ताtā तेte विश्वाviśvā परिभूरस्तुयज्ञमparibhūrastuyajñam |

गयस्फानःghayasphānaḥ परतरणःprataraṇaḥ सुवीरो.अवीरहाsuvīro.avīrahā परpra चराcarā सोमsoma दुर्यानduryān ||
Such of thy glories as with poured oblations men honour, may they all invest our worship.
Wealth-giver, furtherer with troops of heroes, sparing the brave, come, Soma, to our houses.
1.91.19
सोमोsomo धेनुंdhenuṃ सोमोsomo अर्वन्तमाशुंarvantamāśuṃ सोमोsomo वीरंvīraṃ कर्मण्यंkarmaṇyaṃ ददातिdadāti |

सादन्यंsādanyaṃ विदथ्यंvidathyaṃ सभेयंsabheyaṃ पित्र्श्रवणंpitṛśravaṇaṃ योyo ददाशदस्मैdadāśadasmai ||
To him who worships Soma gives the milch-cow, a fleet steed and a man of active knowledge,
Skilled in home duties, meet for holy synod, for council meet, a glory to his father.
1.91.20
अषाळ्हंaṣāḷhaṃ युत्सुyutsu पर्तनासुpṛtanāsu पप्रिंpapriṃ सवर्षामप्सांsvarṣāmapsāṃ वर्जनस्यगोपामvṛjanasyaghopām |

भरेषुजांbhareṣujāṃ सुक्षितिंsukṣitiṃ सुश्रवसंsuśravasaṃ जयन्तंjayantaṃ तवामनुtvāmanu मदेमmadema सोमsoma ||
Invincible in fight, saver in battles, guard of our camp, winner of light and water,
Born amid hymns, well-housed, exceeding famous, victor, in thee will we rejoice, O Soma.
1.91.21
तवमिमाtvamimā ओषधीःoṣadhīḥ सोमsoma विश्वास्त्वमपोviśvāstvamapo अजनयस्त्वंajanayastvaṃ गाःghāḥ |

तवमाtvamā ततन्थोर्वन्तरिक्षंtatanthorvantarikṣaṃ तवंtvaṃ जयोतिषाjyotiṣā विvi तमोtamo ववर्थvavartha ||
These herbs, these milch-kine, and these running waters, all these, O Soma, thou hast generated.
The spacious firmament hast thou expanded, and with the light thou hast dispelled the darkness.
1.91.22
देवेनdevena नोno मनसाmanasā देवdeva सोमsoma रायोrāyo भागंbhāghaṃ सहसावन्नभिsahasāvannabhi युध्यyudhya |

माmā तवाtvā तनदीशिषेtanadīśiṣe वीर्यस्योभयेभ्यःvīryasyobhayebhyaḥ परpra चिकित्साcikitsā गविष्टौghaviṣṭau ||
Do thou, God Soma, with thy Godlike spirit, victorious, win for us a share of riches.
Let none prevent thee: thou art Lord of valour. Provide for both sides in the fray for booty.
