सीषधामेन्द्रश्च
sīṣadhāmendraśca
विश्वे
viśve
च
ca
देवाः
devāḥ
||
WE will, with Indra and all Gods to aid us, bring these existing worlds into subjection.
यज्ञं
yajñaṃ
च
ca
नस्तन्वं
nastanvaṃ
च
ca
परजां
prajāṃ
चादित्यैरिन्द्रः
cādityairindraḥ
सहचीक्ळिपाति
sahacīkḷipāti
||
Our sacrifice, our bodies, and our offspr. let Indra form together with Ādityas.
आदित्यैरिन्द्रः
ādityairindraḥ
सगणो
saghaṇo
मरुद्भिरस्माकं
marudbhirasmākaṃ
भूत्ववितातनूनाम
bhūtvavitātanūnām
||
With the Ādityas, with the band of Maruts, may Indra be Protector of our bodies.
हत्वाय

देवा
devā
असुरान
asurān
यदायन
yadāyan
देवा
devā
देवत्वमभिरक्षमाणाः
devatvamabhirakṣamāṇāḥ
||
As when the Gods came, after they had slaughtered the Asuras, keeping safe their Godlike nature,
परत्यञ्चमर्कमनयञ्छचीभिरादित
pratyañcamarkamanayañchacībhirādit
सवधामिषिराम्पर्यपश्यन
svadhāmiṣirāmparyapaśyan
||
Brought the Sun hitherward with mighty powers, and looked about them on their vigorous Godhead.
