पराग्नयेprāghnaye वाचमीरयvācamīraya वर्षभायvṛṣabhāya कषितीनामkṣitīnām |

सsa नःपर्षदतिnaḥparṣadati दविषःdviṣaḥ ||
To Agni send I forth my song, to him the Bull of all the folk:
So may he bear us past our foes.
10.187.1
यःyaḥ परस्याःparasyāḥ परावतस्तिरोparāvatastiro धन्वातिरोचतेdhanvātirocate |

सsa नःपर्षदतिnaḥparṣadati दविषःdviṣaḥ ||
Who from the distance far away shines brilliantly across the wastes:
So may he bear us past our foes.
10.187.2
योyo रक्षांसिrakṣāṃsi निजूर्वतिnijūrvati वर्षाvṛṣā शुक्रेणśukreṇa शोचिषाśociṣā |

सsa नःपर्षदतिnaḥparṣadati दविषःdviṣaḥ ||
The Bull with brightly-gleaming flame who utterly consumes the fiends
So may he bear us past our foes.
10.187.3
योyo विश्वाभिviśvābhi विपश्यतिvipaśyati भुवनाbhuvanā संsaṃ चca पश्यतिpaśyati |

सsa नःपर्षदतिnaḥparṣadati दविषःdviṣaḥ ||
Who looks on all existing things and comprehends them with his view:
So may he bear us past our foes.
10.187.4
योyo अस्यasya पारेpāre रजसःrajasaḥ शुक्रोśukro अग्निरजायतaghnirajāyata |

सsa नःnaḥ पर्षदतिparṣadati दविषःdviṣaḥ ||
Resplendent Agni, who was born in farthest region of the air:
So may he bear us past our foes.
