आā वva इन्द्रंindraṃ करिविंkriviṃ यथाyathā वाजयन्तःvājayantaḥ शतक्रतुमśatakratum |

मंहिष्ठंmaṃhiṣṭhaṃ सिञ्चsiñca इन्दुभिःindubhiḥ ||
WE seeking strength with Soma-drops fill full your Indra like a well,
Most liberal, Lord of Hundred Powers,
1.30.1
शतंśataṃ वाvā यःyaḥ शुचीनांśucīnāṃ सहस्रंsahasraṃ वाvā समाशिरामsamāśirām |

एदुedu निम्नंnimnaṃ नna रीयतेrīyate ||
Who lets a hundred of the pure, a thousand of the milk-blent draughts
Flow, even as down a depth, to him;

संsaṃ यनyan मदायmadāya शुष्मिणśuṣmiṇa एनाenā हयस्योदरेhyasyodare |

समुद्रोsamudro नna वयचोvyaco दधेdadhe ||
When for the strong, the rapturous joy he in this manner hath made room
Within his belly, like the sea.
1.30.3
अयमुayamu तेte समतसिsamatasi कपोतkapota इवiva गर्भधिमgharbhadhim |

वचस्तच्चिनvacastaccin नna ओहसेohase ||
This is thine own. Thou drawest near, as turns a pigeon to his mate:
Thou carest too for this our prayer.
1.30.4
सतोत्रंstotraṃ राधानांrādhānāṃ पतेpate गिर्वाहोghirvāho वीरvīra यस्यyasya तेte |

विभूतिरस्तुसून्र्ताvibhūtirastusūnṛtā ||
O Hero, Lord of Bounties, praised in hymns, may power and joyfulness
Be his who sings the laud to thee.
1.30.5
ऊर्ध्वस्तिष्ठाūrdhvastiṣṭhā नna ऊतये.अस्मिनūtaye.asmin वाजेvāje शतक्रतोśatakrato |

समन्येषुsamanyeṣu बरवावहैbravāvahai ||
Lord of a Hundred Powers, stand up to lend us succour in this fight
In others too let us agree.
1.30.6
योगे-योगेyoghe-yoghe तवस्तरंtavastaraṃ वाजे-वाजेvāje-vāje हवामहेhavāmahe |

सखायsakhāya इन्द्रमूतयेindramūtaye ||
In every need, in every fray we call as friends to succour us
Indra the mightiest of all.
1.30.7
आā घाghā गमदghamad यदिyadi शरवतśravat सहस्रिणीभिरूतिभिःsahasriṇībhirūtibhiḥ |

वाजेभिरुपvājebhirupa नोno हवमhavam ||
If he will hear us let him come with succour of a thousand kinds,
And all that strengthens, to our call.
1.30.8
अनुanu परत्नस्यौकसोpratnasyaukaso हुवेhuve तुविप्रतिंtuvipratiṃ नरमnaram |

यंyaṃ तेte पूर्वंpūrvaṃ पिताpitā हुवेhuve ||
I call him mighty to resist, the Hero of our ancient home,
Thee whom my sire invoked of old.

तंtaṃ तवाtvā वयंvayaṃ विश्ववाराviśvavārā शास्महेśāsmahe पुरुहूतpuruhūta |

सखेsakhe वसोvaso जरित्र्भ्यःjaritṛbhyaḥ ||
We pray to thee, O much-invoked, rich in all precious gifts, O Friend,
Kind God to those who sing thy praise.
1.30.10
अस्माकंasmākaṃ शिप्रिणीनांśipriṇīnāṃ सोमपाःsomapāḥ सोमपाव्नामsomapāvnām |

सखेsakhe वज्रिनvajrin सखीनामsakhīnām ||
O Soma-drinker, Thunder-armed, Friend of our lovely-featured dames
And of our Soma-drinking friends.
1.30.11
तथाtathā तदस्तुtadastu सोमपाःsomapāḥ सखेsakhe वज्रिनvajrin तथाtathā कर्णुkṛṇu |

यथाyathā तta उश्मसीष्टयेuśmasīṣṭaye ||
Thus, Soma-drinker, may it be; thus, Friend, who wieldest thunder, act
To aid each wish as we desire.
1.30.12
रेवतीर्नःrevatīrnaḥ सधमादsadhamāda इन्द्रेindre सन्तुsantu तुविवाजाःtuvivājāḥ |

कषुमन्तोkṣumanto याभिर्मदेमyābhirmadema ||
With Indra splendid feasts be ours, rich in all strengthening things wherewith,
Wealthy in food, we may rejoice.
1.30.13
आā घgha तवावानtvāvān तमनाप्तtmanāpta सतोत्र्भ्योstotṛbhyo धर्ष्णवियानःdhṛṣṇaviyānaḥ |

रणोरक्षंṛṇorakṣaṃ नna चक्र्योहcakryoh ||
Like thee, thyself, the singers' Friend, thou movest, as it were, besought,
Bold One, the axle of the car.
1.30.14
आā यदyad दुवःduvaḥ शतक्रतवाśatakratavā कामंkāmaṃ जरितॄणामjaritṝṇām |

रणोरक्षंṛṇorakṣaṃ नna शचीभिःśacībhiḥ ||
That, Śatakratu, thou to grace and please thy praisers, as it were,
Stirrest the axle with thy strength.
1.30.15
शश्वदिन्द्रःśaśvadindraḥ पोप्रुथद्भिर्जिगायpopruthadbhirjighāya नानदद्भिःnānadadbhiḥ शाश्वसद्भिर्धनानिśāśvasadbhirdhanāni |

सsa नोno हिरण्यरथंhiraṇyarathaṃ दंसनावानdaṃsanāvān सsa नःnaḥ सनिताsanitā सनयेsanaye सsa नो.अदातno.adāt ||
With champing, neighing loudly-snorting horses Indra hath ever won himself great treasures
A car of gold hath he whose deeds are wondrous received from us, and let us too receive it.
1.30.16
आश्विनावश्वावत्येषाāśvināvaśvāvatyeṣā यतंyataṃ शवीरयाśavīrayā गोमदghomad दस्राdasrā हिरण्यवतhiraṇyavat ||
Come, Aśvins, with enduring strength wealthy in horses and in kine,
And gold, O ye of wondrous deeds.
1.30.17
समानयोजनोsamānayojano हिhi वांvāṃ रथोratho दस्रावमर्त्यःdasrāvamartyaḥ |

समुद्रेsamudre अश्विनेयतेaśvineyate ||
Your chariot yoked for both alike, immortal, ye of mighty acts,
Travels, O Aśvins, in the sea.
1.30.18
वयघ्न्यस्यvyaghnyasya मूर्धनिmūrdhani चक्रंcakraṃ रथस्यrathasya येमथुःyemathuḥ |

परिpari दयामन्यदीयतेdyāmanyadīyate ||
High on the forehead of the Bull one chariot wheel ye ever keep,
The other round the sky revolves.
1.30.19
कस्तkasta उषःuṣaḥ कधप्रियेkadhapriye भुजेbhuje मर्तोmarto अमर्त्येamartye |

कंkaṃ नक्षसेnakṣase विभावरिvibhāvari ||
What mortal, O immortal Dawn, enjoyeth thee? Where lovest thou?
To whom, O radiant, dost thou go?
1.30.20
वयंvayaṃ हिhi तेte अमन्मह्यान्तादाamanmahyāntādā पराकातparākāt |

अश्वेaśve नna चित्रेcitre अरुषिaruṣi ||
For we have had thee in our thoughts whether anear or far away,
Red-hued and like a dappled mare.
1.30.21
तवंtvaṃ तयेभिराtyebhirā गहिghahi वाजेभिर्दुहितर्दिवःvājebhirduhitardivaḥ |

अस्मेasme रयिंrayiṃ निधारयnidhāraya ||
Hither, O Daughter of the Sky, come thou with these thy strengthenings,
And send thou riches down to us.
