पितरंpitaraṃ चca परयनprayan सवःsvaḥ ||
THIS spotted Bull hath come, and sat before the Mother in the east,
Advancing to his Father heaven.

वयख्यन्महिषोvyakhyanmahiṣo दिवमdivam ||
Expiring when he draws his breath, she moves along the lucid spheres:
The Bull shines out through all the sky.

तरिंशदtriṃśad धामdhāma विvi राजतिrājati वाकvāk पतंगायpataṃghāya धीयतेdhīyate |

परतिवस्तोरहprativastoraha दयुभिःdyubhiḥ ||
Song is bestowed upon the Bird: it rules supreme through thirty realms
Throughout the days at break of morn.
