इन्द्राग्नीindrāghnī आā गतंghataṃ सुतंsutaṃ गीर्भिर्नभोghīrbhirnabho वरेण्यमvareṇyam |

अस्यasya पातंpātaṃ धियेषिताdhiyeṣitā ||
MOVED, Indra-Agni, by our hymn, come to the juice, the precious dew:
Drink ye thereof, impelled by song.
3.12.1
इन्द्राग्नीindrāghnī जरितुःjarituḥ सचाsacā यज्ञोyajño जिगातिjighāti चेतनःcetanaḥ |

अयाayā पातमिमंpātamimaṃ सुतमsutam ||
O Indra-Agni, with the man who lauds you comes the wakening rite:
So drink ye both this juice assured.
3.12.2
इन्द्रमग्निंindramaghniṃ कविछदाkavichadā यज्ञस्यyajñasya जूत्याjūtyā वर्णेvṛṇe |

ताtā सोमस्येहsomasyeha तर्म्पतामtṛmpatām ||
Through force of sacrifice I choose Indra-Agni who love the wise:
With Soma let these sate them here.
3.12.3
तोशाtośā वर्त्रहणाvṛtrahaṇā हुवेhuve सजित्वानापराजिताsajitvānāparājitā |

इन्द्राग्नीindrāghnī वाजसातमाvājasātamā ||
Indra and Agni I invoke, joint-victors, bounteous, unsubdued,
Foe-slayers, best to win the spoil.
3.12.4
परpra वामर्चन्त्युक्थिनोvāmarcantyukthino नीथाविदोnīthāvido जरितारःjaritāraḥ |

इन्द्राग्नीindrāghnī इषiṣa आā वर्णेvṛṇe ||
Indra and Agni, singers skilled in melody hymn you, bringing lauds:
I choose you for the sacred food.
3.12.5
इन्द्राग्नीindrāghnī नवतिंnavatiṃ पुरोpuro दासपत्नीरधूनुतमdāsapatnīradhūnutam |

साकमेकेनsākamekena कर्मणाkarmaṇā ||
Indra and Agni, ye cast down the ninety forts which Dāsas held,
Together, with one mighty deed.
3.12.6
इन्द्राग्नीindrāghnī अपससapasas पर्युपparyupa परpra यन्तिyanti धीतयःdhītayaḥ |

रतस्यṛtasya पथ्याpathyā अनुanu ||
To Indra-Agni reverent thoughts go forward from the holy task
Along the path of sacred Law.
3.12.7
इन्द्राग्नीindrāghnī तविषाणिtaviṣāṇi वांvāṃ सधस्थानिsadhasthāni परयांसिprayāṃsi चca |

युवोरप्तूर्यंyuvoraptūryaṃ हितमhitam ||
O Indra-Agni, powers are yours, and dwellings and delightful food
Good is your readiness to act.
3.12.8
इन्द्राग्नीindrāghnī रोचनाrocanā दिवःdivaḥ परिpari वाजेषुvājeṣu भूषथःbhūṣathaḥ |

तदtad वांचेतिvāṃceti परpra वीर्यमvīryam ||
Indra and Agni, in your deeds of might ye deck heaven's lucid realms:
Famed is that hero strength of yours.
