सsa नोno यवसमिछतुyavasamichatu ||
SING forth and laud Parjanya, son of Heaven, who sends the gift of rain
May he provide our pasturage.

योyo गर्भमोषधीनांgharbhamoṣadhīnāṃ गवांghavāṃ कर्णोत्यर्वतामkṛṇotyarvatām |

पर्जन्यःपुरुषीणामparjanyaḥpuruṣīṇām ||
Parjanya is the God who forms in kine, in mares, in plants of earth,
And womankind, the germ of life.
7.102.2
तस्माtasmā इदास्येidāsye हविर्जुहोताhavirjuhotā मधुमत्तममmadhumattamam |

इळांiḷāṃ नःnaḥ संयतंsaṃyataṃ करतkarat ||
Offer and pour into his mouth oblation rich in savoury juice:
May he for ever give us food.
