माध्यन्दिनस्यmādhyandinasya सवनस्यsavanasya वर्त्रहन्ननेद्यvṛtrahannanedya पिबाpibā सोमस्यsomasya वज्रिवःvajrivaḥ ||
THIS prayer, and those who shed the juice, in wars with Vṛtra thou holpest, Indra, Lord of Strength, with all thy succours.
O Vṛtra-slayer, from libation poured at noon, drink of the Soma juice, thou blameless Thunderer.

एकराळekarāḷ अस्यasya भुवनस्यbhuvanasya राजसिrājasi शचीपतśacīpata इन्द्रindra विश्वाभिरूतिभिःviśvābhirūtibhiḥ |

माध्यन्दिनस्यmādhyandinasya ...... ||
Sole Ruler, thou art Sovran of this world of life, O Indra, Lord of Strength, with all thy saving help.

सस्थावानाsasthāvānā यवयसिyavayasi तवमेकtvameka इच्छचीपतicchacīpata इन्द्रindra विश्वाभिरूतिभिःviśvābhirūtibhiḥ |

Thou only sunderest these two consistent worlds, O Indra, Lord of Strength, with all thy saving help.

कषेमस्यkṣemasya चca परयुजश्चprayujaśca तवमीशिषेtvamīśiṣe शचीपतśacīpata इन्द्रindra विश्वाभिरूतिभिःviśvābhirūtibhiḥ |

Thou art the Lord supreme o’er rest and energy, O Indra, Lord of Strength, with all thy saving help.

कषत्रायkṣatrāya तवमवसिtvamavasi नna तवमाविथtvamāvitha शचीपतśacīpata इन्द्रindra विश्वाभिरूतिभिःviśvābhirūtibhiḥ |

माध्यन्दिनस्यmādhyandinasya ...... ||
Thou helpest one to power, and one thou hast not helped, O Indra, Lord of Strength, with all thy saving aid.

शयावाश्वस्यśyāvāśvasya रेभतस्तथाrebhatastathā शर्णुśṛṇu यथाश्र्णोरत्रेःyathāśṛṇoratreḥ कर्माणिkarmāṇi कर्ण्वतःkṛṇvataḥ |

परpra तरसदस्युमाविथtrasadasyumāvitha तवमेकtvameka इनin नर्षाह्यnṛṣāhya इन्द्रindra कषत्राणिkṣatrāṇi वर्धयनvardhayan ||
Hear thou Śyāvāśva while he sings to thee, as erst thou heardest Atri when he wrought his holy rites.
Indra, thou only gavest Trasadasyu aid in the fierce fight with heroes, strengthening his powers.
